Nitro Horizon
★★★★☆ 4.1
Nitro Horizon is pure arcade racing fun. No dense simulation, just tight tilt steering, generous drift boosts and tracks that wind through glowing cityscapes. It understands exactly what it wants to be and nails the feel.
You unlock cars by placing well in races, and each one handles differently enough to matter. Tilt controls felt responsive on our devices, though there's a touch-button option if you prefer it. Drift chaining is where the real skill shows up.
It's not a long game, but the pick-up-and-race loop is addictive. We kept coming back to shave seconds off our best laps, which is the whole point of a racer like this.
